A kick ass collection of pixels

jtotheizzoe: Red Eye Photographer Larry Lynch captured this haunting, demonic shot of a Florida alligator in the dark of night. The red glow is due to a layer of light-amplifying tissue in the gator’s eye called a tapetum lucidum, the same thing that makes cat eyes glow in photos.
